Neural Circuits underlying Nociception and Pain and their Plasticity. 6-8 October, 2013, Heidelberg, Germany

Chronic pain is a major health problem worldwide and constitutes a formidable challenge to clinical practice and basic science. This conference will focus and emphasise on neural circuits in acute and chronic pain. Newest insights derived from the application of cutting edge genetic, optogenetic and tracing methodologies will be discussed in conjunction with latest advances in structure-function analyses in humans because this represents a very rapidly developing field.
